Dr. Jinah Jang is a visiting scholar in the Department of Pathology at University of Washington and a postdoctoral fellow in Department of Mechanical Engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). Jinah received her B.S. in Mechanical Design and Automation Engineering at Seoul National University of Technology in 2010, Ph.D. in Division of Integrative Biosciences and Biotechnology at POSTECH in 2015. Her research interest lies on the development of functional human tissues based on the 3D bioprinting and tissue specific bioink platforms to understand and treat various cardiovascular diseases. She has been received several fellowships and awards, including a Presidential Postdoctoral Fellowship by the Korean Government (MSIP) and an Excellence Award for Young Scientist by Korea Federation of Women’s Science & Technology Associations (KOFWST).
