About SherinaSherina Malkani is a graduate student in the Department of Bioengineering. Sherina received her B.S. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego, where she was involved in genetic engineering and space physiology research. After graduating, she worked at NASA Ames Research Center studying the effects of cosmic radiation on the human central nervous system and immune system. In the Stevens Lab, Sherina is currently working on 3D printing artificial tissues that mimic physiological architecture and function.
